For those who’ve never seen a prefab modern house in person and who happen to be in Rehoboth Beach, Del., on September 23rd, you’ll have a rare opportunity to see one of the most successful models: Rocio Romero’s LVL House. Originally designed more than 15 years ago for the Chilean-American architect’s mother, the building was conceived as a low-cost, high-design modern house. It resonated so widely, Rocio decided to make it available to the general public. To date, more than 200 iterations have been built. Rocio’s staff will be on hand to discuss the full LV series of houses available at the Rehoboth event. Tickets are required and can be purchase here to benefit a local charity. You can learn more about Rocio and the LV houses here.
