New Los Angeles Fault Line Maps Cut Through Pricey Real Estate

The California Geological Survey has expanded its draft map coverage of earthquake fault lines to include some of the most desirable–and expensive–real estate in Los Angeles, including Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, and Brentwood. It remains to be seen what impact this will have on further development and renovations in those and other neighborhoods included in the new mapping.
