The famed biennial design conference held amid the stunning scenery of the Monterey Peninsula has opened registration for attendees. Organized by the AIA California Council, the inspiring mashup of talent from all over the world takes place at the Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds, a 107-acre refuge overlooking the Pacific Ocean. In 2017, some of the headliners included Dorte Mandrup, Dominique Jakob, Sou Fujimoto, and Shohei Shigematsu of OMA. This year’s event takes place October 25 through 27; registration fees before August 30 are $565 (AIA Member), $785 (Non-Member) and $265 (Emerging Professional Members).
