When architects travel, they often still have architecture on the brain. If they want to select a destination based on a compelling rental house, they typically have to pore through pages of pablum to get to the plums. Luckily an enterprising pair of architects, Connie Lindor and Scott Muellner, has done the lion’s share of tedious work and compiled a collection of highly curated rental houses all over the world on the website Plans Matter.
The ultimate list isn’t vast, but it is choice, including award-winning houses such as Tom Kundig’s Rolling Huts and Julie Snow’s Sawtooth Cabin.
